you do NOT need an audio interface. Audio interfaces are for recording Vocals, Guitar, etc. (things with a mic)

All you need is…
Your Keyboard (Check)
You Computer (Check)
Software. Nope..
Cords. Maybe..

As for software I HIGHLY recommend Flstudio… Its in the 500$ range if you want a full version. Or you can download a demo version to just try it out. Flstudio is EXTREMLEY easy to use, but if you become a pro with it, it can do SO much. You can also get somthing called a “Regkey” to hack a free version and give yourself a pirated full version. Youtube “fl studio free” for more on that…

Just google fl studio and download the free trial.. you should like it.

As for connecting your keyboard to Flstudio…. Im Not POSITIVE, but heres my guess..

Connect the keyboard to the computer via a MIDI cable. (itll plug into the usb port) if you didnt get a cable with the Keyboard go buy one at best buy. There only like 15$. Ask for help at best buy..

Now go to OPTIONS>MIDI SETTINGS> and under “Controller type” choose your keyboard. Plug it in and click RESCAN MIDI DEVICES. it should be connected. If not go to youtube and search “how to connect midi keyboard”

Any other questions PM me.. ill get you started with Flstudio in detail once you have a full version. ive been using it for 2 years, but i dnt use a midi keyboard. so thats why im not exactly sure how to set it up…
