Lenovo T60p problems with standby and other procedures?
I am having trouble with my Lenovo T60p, which is just over 2 years old. When I try to make it go to stand by or to hibernate, it just flat out won’t do anything. If I try to shut it down, it goes through the typical “saving your settings” and all that, then it shows me a blank screen (not the screen turned off, but a black screen with the cursor that I can still move around) and it stays there indefinitely. Here, I must hold down the power button in order to turn my computer off. When I turn my laptop back on after doing this, it boots up normally (the point in saying this is that it doesn’t tell me that the shutdown was abnormal and ask me if i want to boot normally or in safe mode). If I restart it, it works fine. I’m really confused as to what is going on.
